Martin Franke

Martin has worked for the LaGrange County SWCD since early 2005, serving as the district technician and educator. He became District Manager in April 2012. Martin graduated from Lakeland High School in 1983. He received a B.A. in history from Indiana University in 1987. Martin spent the years of 1987-1988 doing voluntary service in a Canadian Residential School. In 1990, Martin married Christine Sensenig from Ephrata, PA and worked as a museum director in Eastern Pennsylvania for 4-1/2 years, then following their moved to Indiana taught school for 6 years. Martin and Christine have three children--Arthur, Maggie and Hans.
Jennifer Walker

Jennifer joined the NRCS office in LaGrange County in October 2014. She grew up on a dairy farm in Huntington County. Jennifer is married to Jake and they have three children, Ryan, Leann, and Dolly. They live in Dekalb County and farm corn, beans and wheat with Jake's parents on the family farm. Jennifer is a Purdue graduate in agriculture economics and previously worked in Allen County in the FSA office for 6.5 years.
Kyle Burchett

Kyle Served as an intern during the 2015-2016 School year. He Graduated from Lakeland High School in 2016. He Graduated from Vincennes University with two Associate Degrees in Environmental sciences. He then transferred to Purdue and graduated with a B.A in Agricultural Education. He now works for the district as the program assistant.

Amy has worked at the Kendallville Walmart for 28 years. She has joined our team as the office coordinator. Amy enjoys horse back riding; a passion that she is passing down to her daughter.
